Having trained in Boston and Miami, Dr. Reddy has trained in some of the most rigorous environments in the country and with some of the foremost experts in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Procedures

Dr. Reddy performs a variety of endsoscopic procedures such as EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy), colonoscopy, PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) tubes, Bravo capsule, and capsule endoscopy as well as reading manometry. 

 

Dr. Reddy is one of the few gastroenterologists in the area who publicly releases his data on quality metrics in practice that have a significant impact on the quality of colonoscopy as well as the risk of missed cancers. For more information, see the section on colonoscopy.

 

 

Intestinal Disease

In his practice, Dr. Reddy treats all types of intestinal disease including inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and ulcerative colitis), GI bleeding, irritable bowel syndrome, Celiac disease, peptic ulcer disease, GERD/heartburn, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, pancreatitis, motility disorders, and many other diseases. He is familiar with using all of the newest agents so you will not have to worry about not getting the same level of care that you would at an academic center.

Liver Disease

Dr. Reddy is familiar with treating all major types of liver disase including viral hepatitis (A, B, C, and D), autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, alcoholic liver disease, decompensated cirrhosis, and post-liver transplants. With his access to the liver specialists at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Hospital (one of the highest volume transplant centers in the country) he is able to facilitate a smoother transition to and from liver transplants in the community.
